I figured we should have a thread for all of the interviews that came out of this year's San Diego Comic Con.
Sean talked about his voice work as Raphael on Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, his involvement in Guillermo Del Toro's upcoming TV series The Strain (which promises to be beyond epic - we can hardly wait!), and generally geeking out with his oldest daughter Alexandra over things like Star Wars and Zombies and...well, you'll see for yourself!
Below are all of the interviews (video and audio) that I could find. Some of them hyperlinked since embedding won't work.
If you have any additional print interviews from the event, post them here.
Other than that, let's discuss, people!
First off, Sean, Mae Whitman, and Rob Paulsen (the original voice of Raphael, now playing Donatello) talk TMNT. Just hanging out at that recording studio with these guys must be ridiculously cool!
Next up, the TMNT panel highlights, courtesy of Inside the Magic:
And more TMNT interviews with Sean...
...and an interviewer who apparently looks a lot like Patty Duke, or so we're told.
Good point there: Sean was meant to play a turtle. Love the fact that him and Raph have practically the same eyes!
Next up, our devastatingly cute, dynamic (and maybe just a little bit ADHD) duo Greg (Cipes) and Sean are chatting to PopSugar about turtles, alien movies, and Comic Con costumes.
And if this wasn't nerdy enough for you, we've got my favorite video by far where besides Turtles, Sean and (drop-dead gorgeous) Ali Astin talk about Zombies (and Sean's fear of them) and how Sean used to trick his daughters into watching Star Wars. A confession here: If I'd never been a fan before, this interview would have made me one. What can I say, the man knows how to raise kids. Dads of the world, take note:
Going back a little bit, here we have more Sean and Ali interviews.
In the first one, Sean drops the bomb of him being in Del Toro's The Strain on (fairly) unsuspecting reporters.
Sean hits the nail right on the head by calling Guillermo Del Toro one of the storytelling giants of our time.
If anybody has seen the Hellboy movies or Pan's Labyrinth, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Lastly, a very short video from ScreenSlam in which Sean gives more information on The Strain:
